TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • Charges/Holds on your DEBIT or CREDIT card:

Offshore, LLC will charge the full amount on your card at the time you make a booking.

  • Rescheduling / Cancellation Policy and Change Fees:

If Offshore, LLC cancels your charter due to dangerous weather conditions (NOT if you cancel, but if Offshore cancels), first step is we need to delay the departure by up to an hour to wait for weather to clear. This will not affect your total rental time on the water. If we still cannot complete the rental then you can either reschedule or get a refund.
If you cancel your booking date or need to reschedule, the following cancel/change fees apply:
Change/Cancel fees for Standard Charters vary depending how many days in advance of your existing reservation the change/cancel is made by you:

  • More than 10 days in advance no change fees and full refund!
  • More than 7 days in advance, 20% of total price
  • 3 or more days in advance, 30% of total price
  • Less than 3 days, 50% of total price

Special Events listed on special events page are not subject to a refund unless Offshore LLC fills the slot that wants to cancel, in which case a full refund will be issued.

  • Weather Policy:

Offshore, LLC will decide if your charter will be cancelled or delayed due to dangerous conditions and approaching systems using Doppler radar, as well as the marine forecast and actual observations for the intended/probable area of charter. Light rain is fine, as the summer storms often clear quickly, but we will not begin a charter during an electrical storm, moderate rain, or if we believe that such approaching conditions will be unavoidable during a charter by altering course or returning to harbor.
For all charter rentals, Offshore LLC reserves the right to cancel charters if Offshore LLC believes that the conditions are dangerous, even if you and the captain believe they are safe. If Offshore cancels your charter (not if you cancel or no show), your booking will be fully refunded and there is no future obligation.

  • Alcohol:

You may bring alcoholic beverages (NO GLASS, NO BEER BOTTLES!!), and we will provide the refrigeration and ice. Any passenger consuming alcohol must be at least 21, and passengers assume legal consequences due to illegal drinking of alcohol. Should you become intoxicated, or show up intoxicated, the captain reserves the right to deny service or return the offending individual/group to the harbor. No rescheduling will be available and no refunds will be issued for charters shortened or cancelled due to intoxicated guests. Bottom line, don’t be dumb!

  • Minors:

Please let us know the number and ages of children that will be on your booking. We also need to verify the adult to child ratio.

  • Restricted Items:

Glass (except for wine/champagne bottles) is not allowed. Illegal substances are not allowed.

  • Illegal Substances:

Obviously no illegal drugs are permitted on board. This will result in immediate termination of the trip and no refund will be issued. Again, don’t be dumb!

  • Swimming:

Swim at your own risk. If you are using the paddleboard or the kayak, you MUST have a life jacket on at all times. If you are doing a river tour, a life jacket is required for everyone through the locks. There are more than enough lifejackets on board to accommodate every passenger.

  • Inappropriate Behavior:

Should anyone act as an inappropriate fool, the captain reserves the right to deny service and/or return the offending individual/group to the harbor. No refunds will be issued.
